Where Do I Begin? (FDoFD #2)
It was a hot and very confusing day.
By that I mean it was so hot and confusing that I didn’t know if I was sweating, or if I was just beginning to sweat.
Which would cause me trouble down the line. Because when I got home, I wouldn’t know if I should put on a new shirt or just begin to put on a new shirt, or if I should put on more antiperspirant or just . . .
Well, you get the picture. Or, if not the picture, at least you understood the words and can create a thought out of it, or at least begin to.
I wonder when people say, “You get the picture,” how many of those they’re talking to actually get a picture.
Why do we just arrogantly use a word that everybody might not benefit from, and will therefore have to interpret if they don’t get what it is we’re arrogantly assuming they get? Is it because we’re all mean drunks?
And why is this sentence like one of those snakes that swallows its tail, that swallows its snake, that’s one of those sentences?
Sorry for that last question – I hate non sequiturs, they make me like beet borscht.

The best place you can ever be is HERE and NOW.
The only place you can ever be is HERE and NOW.
There is no Point B!

HEy Joel, you sound frustrates. BUT…you were the one trying to explain the scenario????
If they did or didn’t “get the picture” that is on you not getting the idea that another person can’t really ever get the full picture even if you explained it . Even if you go into Great detail they not get it. It will always be that way. Even if the person was there with you in the event it will always be interpreted through their own experience(s).
